Speech Pathology Services for Aged Care
Our service delivery model promotes flexibility and customisation for organisations to meet their unique facility needs and provide quality allied health services in accordance with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. These services may include any or all of the following:
- Assessment and management of Dysphagia
- Ongoing monitoring of Dysphagia
- Routine mealtime observations to ensure safety and wellbeing
- Regular communication therapy for Residents with diagnosed impairments
- Staff consultation for the inclusion of communication enhancement strategies into care plans or diversional therapy activities
- Formal or informal staff training periodically or on request
- Ongoing case management for complex presentations such as nil by mouth, chronic aspiration, ineffective mealtime behaviours
